Jemma is an artist and photographer based in Scotland.
She works with vibrant colour and produces artworks over a wide range of media, including sculpture and landart. . Her current artwork is inspired by the human face and the work of artists such as Paul Klee and Picasso. Other artwork is inspired by the landscape and surroundings, as well as pre-historic art. She has several series of artworks including "Pictocelt" which is inspired by Pictish standing stones, local stone circles and ancient documents such as the Book of Kells. Jemma also paints a variety of abstract artworks Her photography is featured on a range of local postcards, as well as on the BBC website under locality. She is also a published author & freelance photojournalist / journalist. Her favourite artists are Monet, Dali, Van Gogh and she has painted replications of some of their artworks. Jemma finds that there is a great learning experience in working in the ways of the great masters.
